The IT Officer will report directly to and be supported by the Manager of IT and will engage with a range of stakeholders including corporate staff, managers of all levels, frontline workers, maintenance teams and external providers. Key responsibilitiesProviding technical advice to users on personal computer hardware and software.Resolving client queries in an effective and timely manner.Ensuring all users know the current status of their individual problems.Monitoring all problems reported to the IT department.Liaising effectively with suppliers.Producing records reflecting IT support and job stream statistics in a timely mannerLiaising with external stakeholders regarding the progress of their action on assigned problems.Keeping Management aware of potential areas for product enhancement and educational requirements. Liaising with Managers regarding potential problems.To be at the forefront of this opportunity you will:  Be self-motivated and organisedHave good verbal and written communication skillsBe willing to work as a member of a teamBe willing to work unsupervised at timesHave a keen interest in technology and communicationHave basic computer experience Essential requirements of the roleWillingness and ability to undertake a Certificate III in Information Technology A current NSW Driver’s licenceThe ability to obtain and maintain a paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)The ability to obtain and maintain a National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC)Appropriately vaccinated against Covid-19 and able to provide evidence About applyingPlease submit your CV and a cover letter addressing your abilities to undertake the key responsibilities of this role. We encourage diversity and inclusion Westhaven is passionate about social justice and diversity and is committed to being an EEO employer.
